Belengo is network independent and works with a number of public mobile data network providers.   Rather than build a proprietary private mobile radio (PMR) network to transfer data, customers can now take advantage of the billions of dollars spent by the large telecommunications companies in building public mobile data networks. GPRS, CDMA 1xRTT, 3G and 4G networks are available around the world and continue to grown. They provide data speeds in excess of private mobile radio networks and are much more cost-effective. You only pay for the data you send.

Belengo's FTS uses Telstra's NextG network in Australia delivering fast, wireless broadband to the vehicles.

In Australia, Telstra, Optus and Vodafone all provide 4G networks with a variety of plans.
